John P. Schreitmueller, President and CEO

John P. Schreitmueller is widely recognized as an expert in the field of leadership, work/life and career consulting. His experience counseling business owners, senior executives and professionals spans over 20 years. He was the founding Member of Resolute Consulting Group in 2003.

Mr. Schreitmueller earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at Southern Connecticut State University and a commission as a United States Marine Corps officer during the late Vietnam era. He commanded an infantry rifle platoon overseas and also flew missions aboard Marine Forward Air Control (FAC) aircraft.

Following military service, Mr. Schreitmueller advanced rapidly as an executive at Texas Instruments, Beech Aircraft Corporation and American Airline’s Sky Chefs, where his leadership contributed to the company’s successful multi-national expansion via joint ventures and acquisitions. Prior to founding Resolute Consulting Group, Mr. Schreitmueller also held roles as Partner and Senior Vice President of Reedie & Company LLC, and Partner of the global executive search firm Ray & Berndtson.

Mr. Schreitmueller holds the Graduate Certification (GC) credential, earned at Southern Methodist University’s Edwin L. Cox School of Business. After completion of graduate studies at SMU, he served as an adjunct faculty member at the Cox School. His qualifications as an Executive Coach include advanced, graduate studies in Mediation and Negotiation, also earned at SMU. Mr. Schreitmueller went on to attend Harvard University, The John F. Kennedy School of Government, where he is a graduate of The Kennedy School’s noted Program on Leadership for Senior Executives.

A licensed commercial pilot with thousands of hours flying high performance aircraft, Mr. Schreitmueller is the author of Of Dreams and Astronauts, a narrative on leadership and the U.S. manned space program. Critically acclaimed, the book won the Aviation/Space Writers Association Award of Excellence for nonfiction journalism in 1990.

Mr. Schreitmueller is a frequent guest on nationally syndicated radio talk programs and has been featured on XM Satellite’s Sixties at 6, MSNBC and The NBC Evening News with Tom Brokaw. He is booked by organizations globally as a featured speaker on leadership and work/life strategies, and his comments and articles appear in publications such as Private Clubs, Human Resources Executive, Dow Jones’ National Business Employment Weekly and Workforce. His next book, Re-Invent Your Career Now! A Guidebook for Professionals, shatters outdated thinking and re-writes how executives and professionals will succeed in today’s tumultuous economy and beyond.

Among his many interests, Mr. Schreitmueller is an active polo player, and is rated in competitive play through the United States Polo Association (USPA). He resides in Atlanta, Georgia, where he serves on the Board of Governors of the City Club of Buckhead.

Patricia Jones, PMHCNS-BC

Pat Jones is a highly recognized expert in the field of behavioral therapy. For more than 20 years, her Atlanta-based private practice has focused on helping leaders achieve fulfilling careers through advanced communications and interpersonal relationship management skills. Ms. Jones’ clients include major corporations, physicians, medical residents, professional women’s organizations and civic groups.

Ms. Jones earned her Professional Nursing Diploma at the Scott and White Memorial Hospital. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science and Master’s degrees in Nursing, each Cum Laude, at Georgia State University. Her post-graduate studies, also completed at Georgia State University, span Adult Psychiatry and Mental Health Nursing. Ms. Jones is certified by the American Nurse’s Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, and she holds licensures in Nursing in both Texas and Georgia.

As a successful therapist and expert in linking physical and mental health, Ms. Jones has produced key workshops, presentations and publications related on advanced behavioral therapy and its effectiveness in career and work/life management. A sampling of her critically acclaimed work includes Stress Management for the 90s Woman, Stress and the Holidays (featured on CNN News Magazine), Stress and Business Relationships and Stress Management and Health. Appearing in the Journal of Neurosurgical Nursing (December 1978, Vol. 10, No. 4), her “Psychiatric Liaison Nurse for Neurosurgery: An Innovative Approach to Management of Chronic Pain” won national recognition.

With particular experience advising CEOs, senior executives, business owners and professionals as they address complex work/life issues, Ms. Jones began her affiliation with Resolute Consulting Group in 2005 and was appointed a full Partner of the firm in 2007. Ms. Jones was instrumental in creation of the Resolute Consulting Group specialty practices for Family Business Leaders and Women Leaders. With Mr. Schreitmueller, she co-authored the firm’s Executive Roundtable for Family Business Leaders™ and the Executive Roundtable Series™ on Women Leaders and Authenticity.

Featured on CNN and multiple television shows in the greater Atlanta area, Ms. Jones is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society for Nurses; the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, the International Association of Psychiatric Liaison Nurses, The American Nurses Association and the International Association of Counselors and Therapists. Active in numerous civic initiatives and winner of the North Fulton Alpharetta Rotary Club’s Distinguished Achievement Citation for charity funding, Ms. Jones resides in Atlanta.

As a Partner with Resolute Consulting Group, Pat Jones maintains a private clinical practice specializing in psychotherapy, stress management, addiction issues and wellness strategies.
